Professor Margaret Stack leads the Tribology group in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering in the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. She is the author of over 200 publications in the fields of erosion and wear of materials in corrosive environments. Her research group involving 9 researchers has focused on generating maps, experimental and modelling approaches, in fields ranging from Renewable Energy to Biomaterials. She is a founder editor of Journal of Bio-and Tribo-Corrosion (Springer) and leads the International Network on Tribo-Corrosion.
