Conference registration

Before travelling to the conference, please familiarise yourself with the Covid-19 requirements for Canada, which Elsevier will be following. The current country guidelines can be found here: https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid. We still request that anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19, or is under any self-quarantine orders does not attend the conference.

If you have more than one paper accepted for presentation at the conference (oral or poster), there is an additional registration fee of US$50 per additional paper. Please select the additional item during the registration process and indicate all your abstract reference numbers when prompted. Please note this is for papers that you are the presenting author of, not papers that you are co-author of.

Conference Registration includes:

  • Conference materials
  • Access to oral and poster sessions
  • Welcome drinks reception on Sunday evening and Conference Dinner on Wednesday evening
  • Mid morning and afternoon refreshments each day
  • Please note: Lunch is not included

Payment methods
Payment for conference registrations can only be made by credit card online. Elsevier accepts: MasterCard, Visa and American Express, Alipay, Paypal and Unionpay.

Cancellation information
Substitutions may be made at any time but please advise the Symposium Secretariat of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Symposium Secretariat immediately. Provided written notice is received by Friday 3 March 2023, a full refund will be given less a 10% administration charge. Provided written notice is received by Friday 17 March 2023, a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after Friday 17 March 2023, or for no-shows at the conference, the full fee (100% cancellation charges) will be payable.

In the unlikely event that Elsevier shall deem it necessary to cancel the conference, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.

Should you test positive for Covid-19 or be required to self-isolate, do not attend the conference. Elsevier will refund your registration fee.
